Headless Saturday OOTD

Old Navy Chambray Button-Yoke Blouse (similar) :: Gap Striped Sweater (similar, similar) :: Gap Legging Jeans (skimmer length, steal, splurge) :: J. Crew Factory Emery Flats in Bright Persimmon (similar) :: Gorjana Super Star Necklace (similar) :: Michael Kors Watch (similar)

I seem to have digressed from my humble goal of posting semi-decent photos on here, as I decided to go with a noggin-less set today, photos from yesterday, aka Worst Hair Day of 2013 (so far). Truth is, my hair resembled something akin to this, so rather than using it to gleefully frighten the crapola out of the other kids at the jumpy house place, I threw up my silken tresses into a giant blob, and decidedly cropped it out of today's photos.

A note on the flats: these sold out twice online and now seem to be back in stock. I normally wear an 8.5/9 in most shoes, and these fit me in a 9; an 8.5 would definitely be too tight. I'd go with your larger shoe size or size up 1/2 size. I don't think the quality warrants paying full price for these, but the color/bow/right amount of pointy made these a good buy for me on promo a couple of months ago.

This is about as nice as I'll look all weekend - another snowstorm predicted today, and with cinnamon cayenne maple ribs on the menu for Sunday dinner and Argo on the queue, I'm certain I won't make it out of leggings and a tee. Shower? Real clothes? Ain't nobody got time for that...

What are you doing this weekend?

  2. Ha! I should absolutely implement a "headless" policy for my bad hair days, like yesterday (and all of December)but instead I just post them! LOL! In other news, I love your green jeans! I am looking for a new pair of colored jeans and I am obsessed with green ones.

    1. I usually just post anyway, cowlicks and all, but giiiirl, it was just too bad. Ha!! My pants were on supersale + 25% off in-store. If you call Gap's CS, they will track one down on their database, and do a charge/send for you. Mine were around $19, so even with $7 shipping, $26 is still a great deal from $70. They fit TTS for me and have great stretch.

  8. I want the recipe for the ribs - they sound amazing!

And you're way cuter than I am most weekends. If I'm not leaving the house, I'm not getting out of sweats.
