Old Gal

ASOS Vila Grandad Sweater (similar) :: Old Navy Rockstar in Campfire :: Forever 21 Square Link Necklace (recent) :: Sole Society Addison Boots (similar, similar)

Parentals and little sis arrived yesterday, so it's been a tad hectic around here. Mama's already fixed 467 of my favorite eats, sis and I have already sniffed out some super deals, and Baby Warrior has promptly dropped me for the adoring affection of his Moma and Hoppy.

I won't have time to blog often while they're visiting, but I hope to squeeze out semi-regular and quick OOTD posts...which is why I braved myself and threw on my leopard boots. I'm in Teva country, folks, these got me a few looks, but I also turned another year older today, so I carpe-ed the heck out of that diem today. They are quite comfy, by the way, although I was a bit alarmed that my almost-sixty mother thought they were quite cute. Double edged compliment??

Happy Friday tomorrow. Husband returns from another work trip tomorrow, and I have been promised a big, fat hunk of Berry Chantilly Cake!

  1. Happy birthday, Caroline! And ummm I was staring at the second picture for the longest time trying to figure out where your feet went. It wasn't until I looked at the first pic that I realized you were wearing leopard prin my booties that had camouflaged into your carpet and I had mistook for a shadow. :(

Hope you have a wonderful birthday weekend!!!!

    1. Thank you! We've been so busy that I've resorted to dressing monochromatically to save time in the morning. I also discovered that I am way too dependent on my routine!!
